The 6 minute circuit is a fantastic circuit style of training using only bodyweight. It is great for burning fat as well as developing muscular endurance mainly in the legs whilst keeping the intensity of the workout high. It is the perfect circuit to do if you are limited on time. The idea is that you perform the circuit below as many times as you can in 6 minutes. This can be done on its own, at the end of the workout or can be structured into a workout itself by perfoming sets of the circuit.
Keep strict technique throughout. The circuit runs as follows:
- Burpees X 12
- Moutain Climbers X 20
- Squat Jumps X 12
- Scissor Jumps X 8
